Yes. Everything Cappy does on your computer is free, and stays free. Pro is there for those who want AI: chat with Cappy about your days, summaries and auto labels, for $2.99 a month or $29.99 a year.
Where are my logs stored?+
On your computer, in a small local database. Nothing is uploaded, and Cappy works without internet.
Is there a Mac version?+
Soon. Cappy is Windows-first while he’s in early access.
Windows says it “protected my PC”. Is that safe?+

Cappy started as a small project for someone very special to me who never had time to write down what they'd worked on, until the timesheet was due and the week was a blur.
So rather than one more app to open, I made someone who comes to you: Cappy pops up, asks, and keeps the answer. One line at a time, the days write themselves.
